When Gibs Met Cam

In February of 2022, founder Cambria adopted Giblets, an 8 year old chihuahua from MaeDay Rescue in Los Angeles, CA. It was love at first sight and an immediate unbreakable friendship.

Giblets struggles with longstanding skin issues, most notably appearing as alopecia along his arms and legs. With a background in fashion design, Cambria couldn't help but make Giblets clothes to keep him warm and protect his skin, while also helping him feel confident in his own skin! With Cambria already using fabrics she had previously made outfits for herself with, it was not long until the pair was often matching.

Seeing how much joy the matching outfits brought them and the people around them, Cambria and Giblets decided to join forces and create

Bone Amis (a play on the French "bon amis" aka "good friends"): Matching outfits for you and your goodest friend.

As a brand, we're dedicated to maintaining ethics of sustainability and kindness to humans and animals. Nearly all items are handmade in our LA studio, with scraps from production of the human clothes utilized to create the dog ones, helping us produce less waste. As well, to honor Giblets's rescue dog roots, we donate a portion of each month's earning to local Los Angeles animal rescues.
